From Persia to Uttara: Tracing the Influence of Ibn Sina on Modern day Medicine
Ibn Sina Uttara, often known as Avicenna, was born in 980 during the village of Afshana, in the vicinity of Bukhara in current-day Uzbekistan. He was a polymath, excelling in different fields for instance medication, philosophy, and astronomy. His early schooling was under the guidance of his father, who was a highly regarded scholar from the area.
